Susan Popoola is a Human Value Optimiser whose leadership, coaching and team development work focuses on supporting men and boys to navigate identity, responsibility, pressure and purpose in today’s complex world, while also enabling leaders, teams and organisations to better understand, value and work effectively with men. Through her practice, she creates psychologically safe spaces in which men can think clearly and honestly about who they are, how they lead, and the impact they have at work, at home and in society. Her work with boys similarly centres on listening, belonging and expanding possibilities, helping them develop a strong sense of self and place as they grow.
Susan’s approach is grounded in a systems understanding of how leadership behaviours, gender dynamics and role modelling shape teams, families and future generations. She recognises that when men are seen in their full humanity, valued, grounded and supported to lead with clarity and responsibility, the benefits extend beyond organisational performance to healthier relationships, stronger collaboration, communities and improved outcomes for young people. This perspective also informs her wider work with care-experienced young people, addressing the upstream conditions that influence life trajectories.
Susan delivers her leadership and organisational work through Mosaic Fusions, and her community-focused work through Mosaic Wise CIC. She is the author of Touching the Heart of Milton Keynes: A Social Perspective, Consequences: Diverse to Mosaic Britain, and Male Perspectives on the Value of Women at Work, and hosts the podcast Leading in a Mosaic World, which explores leadership, identity and human value in an increasingly complex world.
